New Instagram Acct

Yep. I made a new IG account for Mz Devious

Look at me trying to be all social and shit.

I suck at social networking. No..no.. I suck at being social, but that’s by choice.  There was a time I loved networking sites, and grasped the  “engage with your audience”  concept, not to mention it’s great for SEO. The problem I ran into was that what was once  a business tool became a new addiction. Ever hop on to one of those sites to post a quick update – then realize four hours has passed and still there chit chatting & ogling  strangers pics? That was me. I am a recovering Facebook addict. I had to pull back and give myself a stern talkin’ to. But that didn’t work, because I also suck at self control and quit cold turkey.  Bye Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

It’s impossible to tune out  all the ‘noise’ over at Facebook and Twitter.  Comments, likes & tweets, cat memes, inbox full of messages, #hashtags, spamvertisements,  friend requests, people knowing your every move.

Two words – sensory overload.

” shit – I just liked that facebook post now everyone that follows me knows I’m hom…………….fuck.. someone’s calling me”  *do not pick it up let the machine get it* … ” Oh hey D, just noticed you liked something on Fb so glad I caught ya.. “

Instagram – the social network for introverts & lurkers

It’s straight to the point. Post a photo, like a few pics, lurk for a little bit then clock out for the day.

It’s also a great hangout for creepers that prefer not to make deep meaningful friendships. It’s cool, I’m a creepy lurker.
